Two months may yield a flat stomach when you’ve got just a few pounds of extra fat. If, however, you have an average 40 percent fat as a woman or 28 percent as a man, your flat abs will take longer to achieve. If you want to make a simple swap that’ll help you lose abdominal fat in two weeks, start eating red fruits over greens. That means Pink Lady over Granny Smith apples, watermelon over honeydew, red grapes over green ones.

Watch What You Eat
Over the 20+ years in health journalism, I’ve been on a mission to learn everything there is to know about, yup, abdominal fat. But nothing I learned intrigued me quite as much as the recent research showing how we can override our genes to lose weight. Using what I’ve learned over the years and from these findings, I began to formulate my own advice on how to shed abdominal fat in two weeks. The time it takes to achieve a flat stomach is different for everyone. It depends on a number of factors, including your body fat percentage. You should try to limit trans fats, refined sugars, sodium and processed foods.
Although some research suggests that apple cider vinegar may positively contribute to weight loss, in addition to its other health benefits, more research is needed to confirm this connection. Consuming apple cider vinegar without making other lifestyle modifications is unlikely to contribute significantly to a reduction in belly fat. These fats have been linked to inflammation, heart disease, insulin resistance, and abdominal fat gain in observational and animal studies (7, 8, 9). If you’re having one of those days when it just feels like your pants won’t button, but you usually eat right and exercise, it could be due to bloating. What you eat, your emotional state, hormones and, in some cases, medical conditions could be behind your swollen tum.
One of the most effective ways to reduce bloating and trim your tummy is to watch what you eat. Avoid foods that are high in salt, sugar, and processed ingredients, as these can all contribute to bloating. Instead, focus on eating whole, nutrient-dense foods like fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains.
Stay Hydrated
The effect may be strengthened when green tea consumption is combined with exercise (70, 71, 72). Eating fatty fish or taking omega-3 supplements sourced from fish oil or algae may improve your overall health. Some evidence also suggests it may reduce belly fat in people with fatty liver disease. Getting enough high quality sleep is important if you’re trying to lose weight. In the Framingham Heart Study, people with the highest consumption of whole grains were 17% less likely to have excess abdominal fat than those who consumed diets high in refined grains (36).
Drinking plenty of water is key to reducing bloating and helping to flatten your stomach. Aim to drink at least eight cups of water per day, and avoid sugary drinks and excess caffeine, which can contribute to bloating.
Exercise Regularly
Incorporating regular exercise into your routine can help to tone your stomach muscles and reduce overall body fat. Focus on exercises that target your core, such as planks, crunches, and leg raises. Additionally, cardio exercises like running, biking, or swimming can help to burn calories and slim your waistline.
Get Plenty of Sleep
Lack of sleep can contribute to weight gain and bloating, so be sure to get at least seven to eight hours of quality sleep each night. This will help to regulate your metabolism and hormone levels, which can aid in reducing belly fat.
While it may not be possible to completely transform your tummy in just two days, following these tips can help you reduce bloating and improve the appearance of your stomach quickly. Remember, consistency is key when it comes to achieving long-term results, so continue to make healthy choices and stay active to see lasting changes over time.
