Is it legal to own/build a wooden Great Axe if you have no intention of using it as a weapon?

Teds Woodworking

To do so, charge a heavy attack and block before the attack is initiated. This will make it look likeyou are swinging, and then you cancel the attack until you can strike at the correct opportunity. In light armor, it is perfect for setting up potentburst damage combos.

Many people enjoy creating prop weapons for cosplay, historical reenactments, or simply as works of art. However, there may be legal considerations when it comes to owning or building certain types of weapons, even if they are made from harmless materials like wood. Great Axes fall into this category, as they are traditionally used as battle axes and could potentially be considered dangerous weapons.

For our Weapon we absolutely want Keen, Vicious and Refreshing Charge. The only reason Refreshing Charge is on the weapon is to maximize the Cooldown refund when you land it offensively. After grabbing Gravity Well, it’s back to the Reaper Tree to Upgrade Reap and Charge. These upgrades add a ton of extra damage to these skills, and can make them deal way more than expected for this point. After grabbing those two skills, we head over to the Mauler Tree, grabbing Mauler’s Resolve and Enduring Strikes to reach Gravity Well. At this point you can also grab the Crowded Well Upgrade if you wish to, but it’s not a huge priority here, as most PvP is 1v1 unless you get into a big skirmish or war.

Your Greatswordwill function as your primary weapon and have incredble burst damage potential. The Great Axe justprovides more mobility and more ways to CC your target. This is optimal for single-target damage if you choose to use a Great Axe as your primary weapon, whichtypically will not happen.

While this is a low Threshold, this is still a good enough bonus to warrant this low of a threshold. Getting to ignore a portion of your opponents armor is really powerful for just dropping them to 50% health. Critical Hits are much less reliable in PvP however, making this slightly less valuable. It is however fairly easy to set up a good stun with another weapon to take advantage of this, so it’s far from awful.

It will result in less detonate burst. But you will not be as vulnerable and can deal more damage with your melee weapons. Within these pages, you will find everything required tounderstand how best to play with this weapon in both PvE and PvP. The right axe for you depends on your specific needs and preferences. Do you need a versatile tool, or do you prefer specialized ones for each task?

In most places, the legality of owning or building a wooden Great Axe depends on the laws regarding imitation weapons or props. If the weapon is clearly intended for use as a decoration or costume accessory, and there is no intent to use it as a real weapon, it is usually legal to possess. However, it is essential to research and understand the specific laws in your area to ensure compliance.

Some jurisdictions may have restrictions on the possession of certain types of weapons, even if they are not functional or made from harmless materials. It is crucial to check local laws and regulations before embarking on a project to build a wooden Great Axe or any other prop weapon.

This actually adds a ton of meaningful value to Heavy Attacks, especially in War situations where your whole goal would be to swing wildly and soak damage. Granted there’s an armor perk that does this, and does it better. This is pretty much a wasted point, even if you wanted the effect because of that. The Mauler Passives are all about disruption and mitigation, with a slight touch of damage here and there. In fact, it’s impossible to really use incorrectly, being a free damage boost in general. Crowded Well increases the explosion damage of Gravity Well for each foe caught in the vortex.

If you wanted a more War or large skirmish focused build, swap Frustration and Feed for Center of Attention and Crowded protection on the Mauler Tree. Center of Attention will provide more consistent damage compared to Frustration. Crowded Protection provide a more consistent defense as you’ll be getting healed constantly anyways. If you want you can also swap Critical Gains to Frustration if you want more damage and want to rely entirely on healers to heal you.

If you are unsure about the legality of owning or building a wooden Great Axe, it may be wise to consult with legal counsel or local authorities for guidance. Taking the time to understand the laws in your area can help you avoid potential legal issues and ensure that your hobby remains enjoyable and lawful.
